In recent years, with the development of new projects of auto parts, after casting in some engine parts will need face grinder for burring, require fine grinding for no burr. Actually it is not simple, such as throttle copper gaskets require no burr after fine grinding processing; The end surface grinding machine of engine camshaft CAM is deburring and so on.

Under normal circumstances, the workpiece need special burr removal machine after surface grinding machine, but because of some of the workpiece material viscosity is very big, or very high hardness, burr removal machine can’t complete the deburring process, even can cause surface scratch, for precision automotive spare parts, the scratch is not allowed.

For engine camshaft CAM, clients mistook that the double end face grinding machine can be used in the burr, but by our technical staff analysis the workpiece burr is very irregular, the thickest part is 1.3 mm, thinner part is 0.5 mm, and the two parallel faces all have this kind of burr, so if you are using a double end face grinding machine, will inevitably lead to size changes on smaller burr side, so our technical experts recommend using single side grinding machine to solve the burr problem.

For automobile throttle copper gaskets, customer want to use double side surface grinding machine for no obvious burr after the grinding, the material os copper, double side surface grinding machine equipped with ordinary corundum grinding wheel is more suitable than CBN grinding wheel.  And there is difficulties for this materials processing, its viscosity is very big, copper dust sticky wheel seriously affect the workpiece precision.

Many manufacturers in the processing production line, equipped with burr removal machine to solve the problems of burr after grinding workpiece, according to the customer response, the deburring is very troublesome, affect the overall production efficiency, while can’t get rid of this process, so the question is a headache.
